Celebration Of River Communities

Each year the Ozark Riverways Foundation supports the Ozark National Scenic Riverways by helping plan and host reunions of the families along the Current River. Everyone is invited to come and reminisce, browse through old pictures, and visit tents of the organizations promoting the river and the communities. Many family members of the river community, before the NPS created the ONSR back in 1964, still live in the Salem, Jadwin, Gladden, Summersville and Eminence areas. These events are designed to bring the families back to the river. Join us for music, food and history. Watch our “Calendar of Activities” for dates for the Akers and Cedar Grove event in May, the Round Spring event in August and Two Rivers, Blair Creek, Shawnee in September.

Please watch our Facebook page for more details on dates and time, and current updates.
